Description
We are looking for an experienced Estates Supervisor to be part of a multi-skilled team, providing customer service and administrative support to the estates and maintenance team and the wider business supporting your internal customers. You will reporting to the Head of Estates, Maintenance & Health & Safety leading a small team of coordinators.
This is a hybrid role based 3 days per week in our Support Centre in Belper.

Key Responsibilities
* To develop and maintain professionally appropriate relationships with all internal stakeholders, and primarily the managers of care services, to ensure the buildings and grounds are maintained according to company policies and the needs of the company’s business plan
* To develop and maintain sufficient and appropriate knowledge of the statutory frameworks which govern the provision of care and education services in the UK, and to provide guidance on their practical application to the directors and managers of Esland
* To create, maintain and store appropriate written and electronic records relating to the care of the company’s estate required by the statutory frameworks governing care and education services in the UK and according to company policies and procedures.
* Lead the Estates Support team to supporting the wider estates and maintenance team and managers across the Esland estate
* Lead on energy and utilities across the estate to ensure all locations have smart meters and accurate energy reporting
* Manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations of property maintenance administration, fleet and health and safety compliance, including but not limited to leasing, maintenance arrangements, planning, contract management etc
* Ensure supervisions, appraisals are conducted with direct reports
* Negotiate vendor contracts and manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers as required
* The post-holder will oversee compliance, instructing works, and projects, implementing new processes, staff training and continual improvement in the department.
* Deal with any other ad hoc estates queries and issues in relation to Esland services as they arise.
* Be actively involved in the implementation, scoping and development of the new Access Maintain software
* Be actively involved in the transformation of Esland fleet over the next 12 – 18 months
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Proven track record of delivering and exceeding targets
* Proven track record in delivering projects in a timely manner and to a high standard
* Ability to handle several projects at once and prioritise the workload
* Experience in leadership, management and demonstrable experience in getting the best results through performance management
* Experience in the property industry and experience in operating at a senior management level
* Thorough understanding of planning requirements
* The ability to embrace change and grow with the business
