Position
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Catering Assistant based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What You Will Do
You will work as part of the Catering Production & Services Team, assisting in all aspects of food preparation, delivery, service, washup/cleaning duties relating to the provision of catering services to Patients, Staff, Visitors, and for functions.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
You will be an organised person with kitchen management skills. Experience in large scale catering, preferably within NHS, would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. You will have good communication skills, and practical skills are essential. A current Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, or you must complete it within the first 3 months of employment.
Hours/Shift Pattern
12.8 hours per week. Shift Pattern: 11.45-15.15.
