If you have a strong electrical background and are eager to make a difference in the EV landscape, we want to hear from you Role Overview As a Commercial EV Pre-Construction Surveyor, you will act as the vital link between our sales team and project managers, guiding customers through the Plug Me In survey journey. Your role will involve conducting surveys, creating detailed electrical designs, and collaborating closely with our sales team to finalise projects. Key Responsibilities Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to schedule virtual and on-site surveys, ensuring a seamless experience. Survey and Design: Conduct comprehensive assessments for EV Charge Point installations and develop accurate electrical designs and estimates. Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to follow up on leads, providing technical insights to assist in closing sales. Project Handover: Ensure smooth project transitions to project managers, providing all necessary details for successful implementation. Technical Expertise: Utilise your electrical knowledge and practical experience to ensure accurate project planning and execution. Travel: Be prepared to travel as required for on-site surveys and customer meetings. Process Improvement: Enhance our survey capabilities and streamline operations to improve customer service and satisfaction. Who You Are Essential Qualifications: Level 2/3 in Electrical Installation (2365), Electric Vehicle Charging (2919), Electrotechnical Technology (2330), and Inspection & Testing (2391). 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Strong electrical technical background with practical on-site experience. Proven experience in surveying, electrical design, and estimating. Desirable Qualifications: ECS Gold Card. Site supervisory qualifications (SSSTS, SMSTS, or equivalent). Familiarity with software tools for electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects. Skills & Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design/estimating software. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
