The Facilities (Soft FM) service at Falkirk Council is seeking an experienced individual to oversee the daily operations of catering and cleaning services within a designated area. This role involves managing staff resources, equipment, and materials to deliver high-quality, cost-effective service. You will monitor standards, implement improvements, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH and food hygiene. Additionally, you will be responsible for staff development, delivering training, managing budgets, and ensuring service specifications are met.
To be successful, you must have facilities management experience or a recognised trade qualification in catering or cleaning, along with strong leadership and communication skills. A solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations, and experience in staff supervision and service improvement are essential.
