Active Directory Engineer
Job Description Summary
Roles in this Job Family design, solution, deploy, migrate, manage, and change infrastructure services, and End User Services across all related technologies. This includes, but is not limited to, servers, storage, mainframe, networks, Active Directory (AD), SAP basis, public clouds, private clouds, datacenter technologies, containers, middleware, databases, Modern Device Management, Intelligent Collaboration, IT (HW&SW) Asset Management Services, Field Services, and Technical Service Desk.
Essential Job Functions
1. Offer basic technical support in infrastructure services, responding to issues and providing assistance.
2. Contribute to infrastructure projects and tasks, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge.
3. Assist in monitoring and basic troubleshooting of infrastructure systems.
4. Work with the team to meet infrastructure needs and support daily operations.
5. Assist in the development of infrastructure documentation, such as incident logs and records.
6. Show eagerness to learn and grow in a technical role.
7. Develop foundational technical skills and knowledge.
8. Follow established best practices and standards in infrastructure service delivery.
Basic Qualifications
9. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
10. Typically, 3+ years of relevant work experience in the industry, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
11. Proven experience in infrastructure technology analysis.
12. Proficiencies in data analysis and a basic understanding of technical concepts.
13. A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.
Other Qualifications
14. An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
15. Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, are a plus.
