Job Title: Purchasing & Despatch Clerk About Us: Were looking for an experienced Purchasing & Despatch Clerk to join a reputable manufacturingcompany based in Stockport, providing high-quality services across various industries. As our client's business continues to grow, we need someone to support the purchasing and despatch teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take on a key role within a supportive, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with purchasing stock and other company items as required. Liaise with suppliers to source materials and resolve any discrepancies or delivery issues. Maintain accurate records of purchases and stock levels. Oversee the despatch of products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Communicate with logistics providers to coordinate deliveries and ensure smooth operations. Ensure all products are packaged and shipped according to customer specifications. Support the purchasing team in sourcing materials and managing inventory. Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience in purchasing and despatch, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience using purchasing or inventory management software is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and customers. Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment and manage multiple tasks.
