As the Finance and Accounts Assistant, you'll report to the Registered Manager and collaborate closely with the Accountant to maintain smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing payments, invoices, and receipts accurately Raising and reconciling customer invoices Performing data entry within accounting software Managing employee expense claims and timesheet verification Tracking vendor invoices and bank balances Preparing VAT returns Supporting the Accountant with administrative tasks, including filing and resolving financial queriesWhat We're Looking For:
Qualifications - AAT qualification or equivalent experience in finance or accounting Tech Skills - Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency; QuickBooks experience is a plus Detail-Oriented - High accuracy in managing financial records Strong Communicator - Skilled in both written and verbal communication Problem Solver - Able to address discrepancies quickly and effectivelyAdditional Information: A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are necessary due to the location of the office.
