As a Strategy Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in delivering dedicated support to victims of sexual assault. We are seeking passionate and caring individuals, to join us. Key Responsibilities: We anticipate that the Strategy Coordinator will be a part of all strategy meetings with both the police and social care and be able to advise with the aid of strict criteria the best route for the child or young person. This will include ensuring that children who require a child protection medical are not brought to the SARC and are directed to the most appropriate Pediatrician. The aim of each strategy meeting will be to ensure that all elements of the child's attendance whether this be acute or non-recent are discussed as part of a multi-agency arena. When acting as Crisis Worker will be responsible for providing cover for both the Paediatric and adult Forensic Services at The SARC's. To maintain accurate record keeping/documentation and to maintain confidential client notes as per protocols. To liaise with other voluntary and statutory agencies in meeting other health and psychological needs of the patients. To ensure the secure storage of all SARC files and forensic samples for potential use in the context of a criminal investigation. Location: The Harbour Centre SARC Hours: 8 hours per week Shift Patterns : 9am - 5pm Salary : £29,699 pro rata based on 40 hours per week IT Literate Basic administration skills Experience of working with vulnerable adults and children Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Children and Adults Knowledge and understanding of Confidentiality. Experience of working and understanding of individuals who may have complex needs Experience of working with individuals who have experienced sexual assault/ violence Project development and outreach Training and presentation skills
