We are currently seeking an organised and enthusiastic primary school teacher to join a mixed-gender public primary school for ages 5-11 in Crawley, West Sussex and surrounding areas as a Long-Term Cover Teacher. In this role, you will provide cover for a period of 6 weeks or more in one school, offering you the opportunity to gain invaluable experience and open doors to future long-term or permanent positions.
While the work in this school is ad-hoc, Randstad provides additional opportunities to pick up work in other local schools. This flexibility allows you to explore different schools, influence the next generation, and earn money on a flexible basis.

Responsibilities:
6. Full Teacher Responsibilities: Including planning, teaching, and assessment.

10. Feedback: Mark and provide timely, clear, and concise feedback on completed work.

Key Requirements for a Long-Term Cover Teacher:
12. Valid DBS: No reprimands that prohibit working with children (we can assist with the DBS application).
13. Relevant Qualifications: Including a degree and teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE).
14. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Desirable, and applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcomed.
15. Experience: Essential experience of teaching in a primary setting.
16. Commitment: Strong commitment and a positive attitude towards the role and objectives.
