The Role:
Working within the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, the Executive Assistant (EA) team provide support to a member of the Executive Management team of the University where a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality is required.
A professional approach with excellent communication skills will be required with the ability to work flexibly, collegiately and confidently to adapt to challenges and interact and influence colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
The Executive Management team of the University have wide-ranging portfolios and responsibilities encompassing all University business with the Vice-Chancellor’s Office EA team supporting them through dedicated and professional support.
The Executive Assistant role in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office is generic and whilst this appointment will initially support the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education), the postholder will need to be flexible and will be asked to support other executive management team members.
Interviews are anticipated to be held 26 February 2025.
It may be possible for hybrid working 1 day per week at home, depending on senior managers' diaries. Flexible working may be available and can be discussed at interview.
