Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and professional Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance Team at Broadstairs.
This exciting and challenging role requires strong accounting skills, a desire for continuous improvement, initiative and the ability to deal with a varied workload in a busy department.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assist in the production of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
\t
* Assist with the preparation of annual budgets.
\t
* Assist with timely and accurate reporting to SGHQ (actual, forecast, budget).
\t
* Assist with timely and accurate local reporting, AGM, tax, statistics etc.
\t
* Preparation of fortnightly cash flow forecasting.
\t
* Assist with the annual audits for all companies.
\t
* Take main responsibility for import duty, CARM & Windsor Framework requirements.
\t
* Payroll for overseas employees.
\t
* Intercompany transactions.
\t
* Collaboration with the Purchasing Department to clear GRNI.
\t
* Cover for sales & purchase ledger.
\t
* Bank reconciliations and payment runs, including overseas
\t
* Assist with vehicle fleet administration.
\t
* Any other ad-hoc tasks as required.
YOUR PROFILE
\t
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
\t
* AAT qualified or PQ ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
\t
* Proficient user of finance software and Microsoft Office packages.
\t
* Advanced Excel skills
\t
* Experience of inter-company transactions desirable.
\t
* Experience in a multi-national environment desirable.
\t
* Able to work under own initiative in a busy environment.
\t
* Able to communicate effectively and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
\t
* Be proactive, organised, and have excellent attention to detail.
\t
* Team oriented.
\t
* Calm under pressure with the ability to multi-task, deal with interruptions, work to tight deadlines, prioritise and work independently.
\t
* Enthusiastic, confident and friendly personality.
\t
* A good team player and a ‘can do’ attitude.
