About the Role
As a Junior BI Analyst, you’ll work closely with various teams across the business, using our comprehensive data infrastructure to extract meaningful insights and support smarter decision-making. With guidance from our Head of Commercial Finance and Insights, you’ll be hands-on with Power BI, creating timely and impactful reporting suites. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to study for professional qualifications while working.

What You’ll Do
- Create customer-focused business reports and dashboards to help colleagues monitor, control, and make decisions that drive business success
- Transform BI requirements from colleagues into actionable insights
- Analyse and interpret financial and operational data to support strategic business decisions.
- Identify relevant data sources and ensure data validity
- Increase automation and self-service reporting for colleagues using Power BI and other tools.
- Collaborate with teams to develop performance metrics and KPIs
- Actively partner with SDL Surveying Management Teams to boost profitability and operational performance
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong mathematical and analytical skills, who brings:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced Excel skills
- Ability to identify trends and outliers, and provide actionable recommendations
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- A keen eye for detail, accuracy, and completeness
- Proven interest in data analysis (whether from formal studies, self-study, or workplace experience)
- Willingness to learn and improve technical and professional skills
- Curiosity and an ability to constructively challenge processes to drive improvement
