Mo te tunga - About the role
The role of the Enforcement and Compliance Coordinator is to provide compliance and administrative assistance to the Compliance Section in all areas of the Councils responsibilities under the Resource Management Act 1991.
The Enforcement and Compliance Coordinator provides administrative support assisting the Team Leaders with recording and reporting of information as required including assisting with Official Information Act requests. The role sits alongside the Triage Administration Coordinator and both positions work closely with many shared goals and objectives to provide support to the Compliance section in its delivery of duties across the Taranaki Region.
Mou - About you
We like to set people up for success so you'll be a leading applicant if you have:
1. Previous experience and/or relevant qualifications in a relevant field and an understanding of the Resource Management Act 1991 would be an advantage
2. Strong computer literacy, including confidence and competence in the use of Microsoft Office products
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and able to work independently
4. A commitment to getting the job done in a calm and excellent manner
5. A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute positively to the team culture to ensure that we provide a positive working environment for everyone.
