The NPD Analytical team supports the development of new Monograph drugs, Medical Devices, Medicines or cosmetic products for our Oral Health brands. Analytical sciences is a specialized discipline providing support for new product development, by developing, validating and transferring state-of-the-art robust methods that enable the growth of the Consumer Health Business. This role's primary job function is to execute technical strategies in analytical chemistry focused on the delivery of innovation in the Consumer Healthcare network. This role is familiar with aspects of HPLC and GC and simple detection technology. This role is recognized as having a good knowledge of Analytical chemistry. This role is of hybrid model with 2 days onsite at St Georges, Weybridge. Key Responsibilities Has knowledge of varied aspects or a specialized aspect of a scientific discipline (i.e. separation sciences, organic chemistry, spectroscopy). With minimal supervision, executes all technical aspects of analytical chemistry including the development, validation and transfer of methods for the testing/characterization of OTC Drug, Wellness and/or Medical Device products. Has a strong understanding of MP requirements and CHR&D policies/procedures. Ensures all applicable training is completed prior to conducting any GMP scientific work. Follows CHR&D documentation policies and practices when recording and documenting scientific work. Performs peer reviews of scientific data and reports. Works with colleague to resolve any identified issues in a timely manner. Capable of troubleshooting moderately difficult instrumentation issues and solving moderately complex analytical problems. Recognizes atypical data including chromatography and intermediate results and performs investigation to determine root cause with minimal supervision from a senior colleague. Interfaces with internal and external partners such as Formulations and Quality and may serves as the Analytical representative on project teams. With assistance produces effective presentations and possess writing skills that is able to tailor messages appropriately( audiences could include external partners, commercial colleagues and internal scientific community ) Care to join us.
