Job Title: Assistant Manager
Location: Taunton
Working hours: Mon - Fri - 7.30- 4.30 and alternate Sat- 7.30-11.30

The role of an Assistant Manager:
1. Works together with the Branch Manager to provide excellent customer service.
2. Maintain high standards within the trade counter area and warehouse.
3. Has a can-do/will-do attitude and able to work within a small team.
4. Assist with health and safety compliance.
5. Lead by example.
6. Work with the Branch Manager and the rest of the team to achieve branch performance targets.
7. Provide cover for the Branch Manager in their absence.
Our ideal Assistant Manager:
1. Will have a friendly, welcoming attitude and have the energy and passion that is required to deliver what our customers require.
2. Must have a full valid driving license. A forklift truck license would be preferable but if not, training will be provided.
3. Good organisational skills and be IT literate.
4. Experience in a trade counter environment would be preferred but not essential as the right attitude and drive will overcome any lack of this experience. Full training will be provided.
