Job summary We are seeking a proactive and insightful Workforce Planning Manager to join our team within the Employment Services Service in the Human Resources (HR) function. In this influential role, you'll work alongside Operational and Finance Management Teams to advance strategic workforce planning across the Trust. Your responsibilities will include developing workforce profiles, crafting innovative workforce models, and ensuring alignment with NHSE, and Health Service initiatives. Through strong collaboration, you'll help shape a responsive and sustainable workforce that meets the Trust's evolving demands. Main duties of the job Strategic Workforce Development : Design and implement workforce solutions that align with the Trust's needs, promoting flexible role structures and innovative ways of working to address workforce challenges. Support the development and implementation of the workforce component within the Trust's annual operational plan. Insightful Reporting and System Alignment : Produce precise and compelling workforce planning reports, offering context to inform decision-making across the organisation. Collaborate closely with finance and other divisions to drive establishment control and ensure alignment between workforce and finance systems, maintaining consistent data across the Trust. Cross-Organisational Alignment : Work in partnership with corporate and clinical divisions to ensure workforce plans support organisational goals, creating cohesion and consistency in workforce planning efforts across the Trust.
