Job summary Applications are invited for a Specialty Registrar Forensic Histopathology (ST3) post in Cellular Pathology. We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and forward thinking individual with an interest in training in Forensic Pathology to join the East Midlands Forensic Pathology Unit. The trainee will work under the supervision of our experienced forensic pathologist team. There are opportunities to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, audit, research and development. Main duties of the job This post is part of the Leicester Forensic Histopathology Training Programme. The programme follows the curriculum for specialty training in Forensic Histopathology set by the Royal College of Pathologists and is directed by the Histopathology Specialty School. The programme lasts 2.5 to 3.5 years for those entering the Specialty Registrar grade for the first time at ST3 level.
