We have an exciting opportunity here in the Primary and Global Logistics Development Team for a Development Co-ordinator to join a successful team!
You'll be working alongside our Carriers, Suppliers, Distribution colleagues as well as third party software providers, to find new ways to optimise and automate existing processes in our area.
You will be responsible for understanding current processes and working with others to understand where it can be improved, then supporting the implementation of any resulting change.
You will be responsible for
* Supporting documenting and communicating change requests to Tesco Technology and third-party providers.
* Sharing solutions to stakeholders for sign off, ensuring exception processes are included in the design, and any impact on other processes is considered.
* Overseeing the developments and their progress, communicating any delays if they become apparent.
* Creating test scripts and test changes prior to deployment.
* Co-ordinating the deployment of system changes, ensuring any impacts they might have are considered, and everyone affected is aware of the change that is coming.
* Create training material and issue communications and overseeing go-live and use data to measure success.
* Troubleshooting and resolving live issues in the system, working with Tesco Technology and third parties to resolve.
* Working with the wider Digital Development team to share knowledge and collaborate on projects.
You will need
* Previous Transport or Distribution Project management experience.
* Working knowledge of Primary Distribution and Global Logistics and what services Transporeon provides Tesco. (not essential)
* Strong Communication Skills.
* Ability to demonstrate listening and comprehend complex scenarios, and effectively communicate them in a clear and understandable manner tailored to diverse audiences.
* Previous problem-solving skills: Capable of analysing issues, breaking them own into manageable components, and resolving them efficiently.
