We are seeking an experienced HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVISOR to join our team. The successful H&S Advisor will play a key role in supporting the management systems and SOP’s, supporting our operational teams and clients, safety training to staff, conducting risk assessments and site audits and helping to promote a positive culture whilst ensuring the company adheres to all current legislation, policies and procedures for Health & Safety and Fire Safety. What you will do: Promote a positive H&S culture throughout the company and the residential buildings we manage. Monitor and review site performance through inspections and audits. Assist and participate in the highlighting of health-related risks and training, Ensure H&S Risk assessments and COSHH documentation are maintained. Ensure safety related training is kept up to date. Ensure any relevant changes in legislation and environmental, safety techniques are communicated and implemented throughout the Company and the residential buildings we manage. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders for H&S and collaborate to achieve shared goals. Manage and prioritise your workload to ensure timely delivery and work quality. Adaptability and willingness to travel nationally, including overnight stays (valid UK driving license preferred). What you’ll bring: IOSH & NEBOSH qualified Knowledge or understanding of current health and safety legislation. Experience carrying out site inspections/audits. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritise duties. Initiative to take ownership of your work and deliver results within agreed timescales. What we’d love to have: Residential building / FM safety background. Working knowledge of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and HHSRS.
