An ability to prioritise work and excellent organisational skills are essential for this role and the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate initiative in planning their own workload in a way that supports the work of the team, whilst also being flexible and adaptable in dealing with the unexpected.
The role is an important one, responsible for the day-to-day management of our community premises, maintaining the health, safety and security of staff and visitors, and ensuring the smooth running of the sites. You will need to be a good communicator, developing effective relationships with a wide range of staff, services and stakeholders.

Operationally responsible for the day-to-day management of our community premises, you will also line manage our reception and admin staff based on these sites, developing and maintaining rosters to ensure coverage of the reception areas in South Pembs Hospital, Tenby Cottage Hospital and Tenby Walk-In Centre, as well as Community Health Centres.
As part of the central business function provided by the team, you will support senior managers with the maintenance of equipment, asset and risk registers for the Directorate. The Business Services Officer also supports the monitoring and contract management of all external SLAs held by the County Team, acting as the point of contact for SLA queries, and for monitoring returns from contract holders, as well as organisation and administration of quarterly SLA management meetings.
The successful post holder will need to be able to travel to all sites within the Health Board if required, particularly the community premises within the Pembrokeshire County Directorate.
