Job summary Are you an enthusiastic, motivated Administrative Assistant wishing to join our dynamic and forward thinking dietetic service based at Leighton hospital, within Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership. The Dietetic teams work across Central Cheshire providing a service for wards at Leighton Hospital, outpatient and general practice clinics, virtual and face to face group education and community visits. The Operational Service Assistant will provide a comprehensive, high quality, confidential administrative support to the Dietetic service They will be expected to organise their own workload whilst being supported by the administrative team and dietetic manager. It is essential that the post holder is able to exercise initiative suitable to the role, and is fully supportive of other colleagues within the team. Main duties of the job The post holder will be required to manage calls into the service, book appointment via the outpatient and community IT systems and support the administration of group education sessions and patient record management You should possess excellent keyboard skills, a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages particularly Word, Excel and email. Familiarity with medical terminology and EMIS systems would be desirable however full training will be given. Good communication and organisation skills are essential, alongside the ability to work under pressure, prioritise and use own initiative. Working flexibly as a team player to support deadlines across the administrative team is vital.
