A designer and manufacturer of complex electromechanical safety-critical products for industrial & environmental applications. They design & manufacture detection and monitoring equipment products as both a fixed and portable system. They are currently on the lookout for a Field Service Engineer to look after the North London/Watford/Stevenage area.
Role Overview:
Seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team nationwide. This regional role covers, reporting to the Field Service Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Servicing, calibrating and repairing detection equipment to relevant standards.
2. Ensure all serviced products are fully operational, tested and have completed service paperwork.
3. Support other team members on jobs that require multiple engineers.
Requirements:
1. Experience in instrument/electronic equipment service, troubleshooting/repair, commissioning, and/or installation.
2. HNC/HND in an electrical/electronic field or equivalent understanding gained from work experience.
3. Full driving license.
Desirable Requirements:
1. Previous experience with fire alarm systems or similar electronic devices.
2. Preferably hold Confined Space, IPAF, and Safety Passport certifications, but training is provided.
3. Prior Field Service Engineering experience is advantageous but not essential.
