Procurement Assistant - Travel & Accommodation (FTC) Based at Virginia Water, Surrey. Full time / Part time considered Hybrid working options. The Role: We are looking for a Procurement Assistant, on a 12-month (FTC), to join our dynamic Procurement team here at the European Tour group. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you'll support the Category Officer and the wider team in managing all aspects of travel and accommodation services for our business. In this role, you'll assist with the day-to-day administration of travel and accommodation bookings, sourcing, contracting, managing travel platforms, and supporting budgeting and financial reporting. You'll also help develop strategies and policies to find cost savings, reduce risk, and streamline processes. Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include sourcing hotel inventory for global events, securing long-term hotel agreements, and managing travel-related Procurement contracts. You'll also assist with the administration of travel and accommodation contracts, ensuring compliance and accurate management. As a product owner for platforms like Navan, HotelPlanner, and Uber for Business, you'll administer travel booking platforms, provide support to internal stakeholders, and monitor platform performance. You'll be the key point of contact for travel support, offering assistance with booking processes and system troubleshooting. You'll support the development and tracking of the annual Travel, Accommodation & Expense (T&A) budget, assist with monthly reporting, and ensure budget compliance. Additionally, you'll help with supplier onboarding, maintain supplier accounts, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Knowledge, skills and experience: We're looking for someone with strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and experience in procurement or travel-related roles. Familiarity with travel booking platforms, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Knowledge of sustainability practices and a keen interest in reducing environmental impact are highly valued.
