Benefits Manager
Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities:
1. Key advisor to project on leave policy ensuring that the build of new tools and processes are fully aligned to company policies and all applicable legislation.
2. Advise on overall project strategy but also details of each individual leave throughout all stages of the build.
3. Proactively review current policies to ensure accuracy & completeness, compliance, and operational efficiency for both the business & employees. Partner with members of the global benefits team to ensure all policy changes support global/international alignment across our leave programmes.
4. Partner with Operations and Legal to address any gaps between policy & process, ensuring any process redesign & documentation aligns with policy.
5. Key stakeholder for all communications relating to the project and partner with other teams to define the scope of work for future phases of the project.
Experience Required:
1. At least 10 years of HR experience in total with at least 5 years of experience in benefits and/or leaves strategy and management.
2. Deep expertise in designing and implementing leaves policies.
3. Significant experience working across multiple countries in Europe. Additional experience working across other regions (Asia, Latin America) would be an advantage.
4. Experience working on tech builds for leaves.
5. Proven ability to work at a fast pace and with ambiguity.
6. Excellent communication skills.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Project Managers, HR Tech, Benefits Operations, and Legal to ensure policies are accurately reflected in the tool.
2. Ensure compliance with local regulations and assist in drafting leave policies where needed.
3. Guide teams on implementing maternity, paternity, recharge, and other leave policies.
4. Oversee system functionality, ensuring it automates workflows, notifies employees of requirements, and integrates with payroll.
5. Conduct workshops and reviews to ensure policy intent is met.
6. Work autonomously, influencing stakeholders and driving strategy beyond task execution.
