My client is seeking a dynamic Internal Business Development Manager with a minimum of one year's experience in a fast-paced B2B sales role, ideally within the Recruitment or IT/SaaS industry.
As an Internal Business Development Manager, you will have a naturally positive attitude, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to effectively engage with and influence key decision-makers. You must have the capacity to prioritize a busy workload while managing multiple tasks.
You will proactively manage a pipeline of fully qualified recruiter prospects, self-generate leads through various channels, and be responsible for the 360 sales cycle from lead generation to acquiring new customers.
You will be highly proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. You must demonstrate your ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
As an Internal Business Development Manager, you will require strong negotiation and persuasive skills to effectively drive contracts to closure, as well as being goal-oriented with a strong desire to meet and exceed sales targets. You must be able to adapt to a fast-paced dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Duties:
1. Conduct thorough market research to identify and prospect potential customers.
2. Utilize various prospecting techniques, including cold calling, email outreach, networking, and leveraging online platforms to engage with potential customers and generate leads.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target companies, understanding their needs and pain points.
4. Effectively communicate the value of the proposition, highlighting the benefits and advantages of using the online platform.
5. Qualify leads by conducting needs assessments, understanding their requirements, and determining their suitability as potential customers.
6. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, highlighting the features and functionalities of the online platform to showcase its value to prospective customers.
7. Present and develop tailored proposals and pricing solutions based on customer needs, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to achieve sales targets.
8. Consult closely with the customer success team to ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to onboarding and implementation.
9. Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and maintain a competitive edge.
10. Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to the senior directors.
