What skills and experience we're looking for
Oakfield Primary Academy is looking to recruit a Part Time SEN Associate Teacher to join our Nursery department. This is a fixed term contract until 31 August2025.
This role will be Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week, 8.30am - 12.30pm. The salary is £23,337 full time equivalent, actual pro rata salary £10,666.45 based on 20 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.
We are looking for an Associate Teacher who has good SEN experience - someone who is good with behaviours, robust and can think on their feet when dealing with children who exhibit challenging behaviour. They will be able to work on a 1:1 level with pupils, as well as supporting small groups of pupils who require guidance and strategies to understand academic and behavioural expectations to participate in mainstream teaching, wherever possible.
