This is a significant opportunity to take on a commissioning support role in the delivery of services for vulnerable children, young people, and adults in Bromley. The role will support a team of clinicians and commissioners to deliver better services for people with learning disabilities and mental health.
The role will be a good fit for individuals with a strong ability to deliver robust administrative services and to work seamlessly across different project areas simultaneously, as well as for someone able to lead small-scale commissioning projects to a high quality, meeting set deadlines.

Main duties of the job
The One Bromley Local Care Partnership (LCP) is seeking a Commissioning Support Officer – Learning Disabilities/Mental Health and Wellbeing. This is a new post with an opportunity for the incoming postholder to make their mark within this critical area. The role will provide support related to All-Age Learning Disabilities/Mental Health and Wellbeing Commissioning, including the provision and coordination of robust administrative services.
Additionally, the postholder will coordinate work across the team to complete Freedom of Information (FOI), Subject Access Requests (SARs), MP and councillor enquiries, public questions, and other information requests in relation to learning disabilities/mental health and wellbeing commissioning.
The post holder will work closely with the Integrated Care Board’s (ICB) Associate Director, commissioning leads, and other colleagues to secure excellent outcomes for vulnerable people in Bromley.

Person specification
Education / Qualifications
* Educated to degree level in relevant subject, such as project management or business administration, or an equivalent level of knowledge acquired through study, training, and experience.
Experience
* Experience of effective delivery within a business planning and/or office context with an understanding of administrative processes and procedures.
* Experience of utilising effective business planning and/or information systems.
* Demonstrated experience of delivering improvement projects in complex and challenging environments.
Skills and Abilities
* Ability to prepare clear concise written and verbal reports for a range of audiences, including senior managers.
* Knowledge of Financial Systems e.g. budget monitoring, procurement, and invoice processing.
* Understanding of project principles, techniques, and tools.
* Ability to provide and receive complex, sensitive, and contentious information and present complex and sensitive information to large groups and senior stakeholders.
* Demonstrated capability to plan over short, medium, and long-term timeframes and adjust plans and resource requirements accordingly.
Other
* Ability to use a range of digital technology e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams.
* Ability to develop and interrogate databases and information systems.
