The Academy Coordinator is a critical role at the centre of the Williams Driver Academy team, and is responsible for coordinating and bringing together all Academy activities across the business, including; Marketing, Communications, Technical, Legal, Sport Science and Travel Office.

The Academy Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Academy, and liaising with stakeholders, including the Academy Drivers, to ensure the administration and operations of the Academy run seamlessly. This will command excellent collaboration with internal and external parties, and detail-oriented administration skills for supporting the team.
Main Duties:

Managing the Williams Activity Schedules for all Academy Drivers and taking full ownership of the Driver Academy Calendar
*
Being the main contact for all internal departments regarding operational aspects of the Driver Academy.
*
Liaise with Academy Driver Managers and/or Families regarding all operational topics such as travel, clothing, communications, training etc.
*
Liaise with Williams and other Teams on operational topics such as branding, test activities, etc
*
Assist the Sporting Director with management duties for all Academy Drivers (Driver contracts, Team contracts etc)
*
Support the Academy Drivers in a managing capacity at Events.
*
Responsible for all monthly performance reporting for the Driver Academy.

Core Competencies:

Experience in working with internal and external legal teams to support contract generation and advice.

Experience in maintaining budgeting documents for reporting purposes.

Excellent organisational & planning skills is required for this role, and experience in a Talent Management or Team Management environment would be beneficial.
*
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and similar programmes.
*
Excellent written communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and discreetly with senior stakeholders.
*
Brilliant collaboration skills, and the ability to manage and report on multiple projects at the same time, across different departments, is critical.
Qualifications and Experience Level:
*
Working Experience in single-seater junior categories such as karting, F4, F3, F2 etc would be preferred.
*
Working with Drivers, or ex-Drivers would be beneficial
*
Experience in a Team Management, or providing support for senior stakeholders, would be highly beneficial.
*
A passion and keen interest for Motorsport would be beneficial.
