Engineering and Technical Customer Support Engineer
Basingstoke (hybrid working)
To £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + exceptional benefits package.
A leading global company has been established for over 60 years, specializing in bespoke instrumentation and special purpose equipment solutions.
Due to continued success and strategic growth, they seek an experienced Engineering and Technical Customer Support Engineer to support their UK Service Team across the Clinical and Industrial markets.
The successful candidate will report to the Customer Relationship Centre Manager, ensuring customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention by delivering world-class service levels and contributing to a profitable customer service division.
This varied role includes:
* Operating as a Customer Relationship Centre system expert, supporting internal and external customers via telephone, remote support applications, and on-site support.
* Accurately completing documentation associated with repair and maintenance of systems and components within the workshop.
* Responding to customer or staff enquiries and resolving issues, generating necessary documentation or records.
* Maintaining knowledge of supported systems and portfolio of available products.
You will work within SOPs surrounding Technical Complaint Handling, procedures, and best practices, attending company meetings and representing senior CRC personnel when required.
Requirements include ONC level or above in electronic engineering and excellent communication, organisational, and prioritisation abilities.
