Main duties of the job The IAP service manager will monitor service performance using the Balanced Scorecard and ensure accurate data entry, collaborating with acute and community care colleagues to improve patient flow and experience. Representing the Trust professionally to staff, partners, service users, and carers, whilst supporting the Integrated Governance framework and ensuring effective governance. Liaising with service users, carers, staff, and partners to ensure shared understanding of services. Ensuring Health and Safety compliance within the service area and staff compliance with clinical mechanisms such as care planning, safeguarding, and records Management. Implementing effective line management processes for staff, including recruitment, appraisal, and grievance handling. Participating in the out-of-hours on-call rota and ensuring compliance with legal duties, whilst managing the service area budget and ensuring financial sustainability. Management of individual and team performance to meet objectives. Lead service area redesign to align with national policies and evidence. Deliver services with sensitivity to community diversity.
