We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Trials Project Manager to join the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences (NDORMS), to be based at Botnar Research Centre and Oxford Experimental Clinical Research Facility, Oxford.
The purpose of this role is to develop and implement a streamlined process for study set up in the NIHR Oxford Clinical Research Facility. The role will involve reviewing and drawing from current processes to inform a system that suits the CRF. Alongside this you will utilise current systems and trial any new processes to set up studies coming into the CRF to provide a comprehensive and efficient study set-up and support service for the facility which includes site activation; conduct; monitoring; and study close-down. You will be expected to work alongside the multidisciplinary team across both the OU and OUH.
As a Clinical Trials Project Manager, you should hold a degree in a biomedical or associated subject, or other relevant qualification, or have proven experience in clinical research. Project management experience and evidence of substantial problem-solving and time-management skills are essential, as well as experience in following written procedures, including departmental guidance in handling sensitive and personal information. Previous trial coordinator experience and experience with conducting or informing Service Evaluations are desirable.
This is a full-time (part-time 60% FTE will be considered) fixed-term appointment for 12 months in the first instance.
