About the team Payouts is a $1T revenue market globally as of 2024, and is expected to grow at high-single digits over the next 5 years. We are looking for a Strategy Manager who is ready to take the lead on ensuring our newest big bet, Virtual Cards, is a success. What you will be doing As a Strategy Manager in Worldpay’s Payouts Commercialization team, you will play a crucial role in driving the company’s global growth by commercializing our newest strategic initiative – Virtual Cards. You will work at the intersection of technical expertise and commercial acumen to enable Worldpay’s Sales teams to effectively sell this brand-new product to customers within the Travel sector initially. This position requires a strong understanding of the payments and travel industries. What you’ll own: Sales Enablement: Enable our Sales team to effectively sell the Virtual Card product by providing technical expertise and sales support Develop sales collateral, training materials, provide bespoke support on deals, work on marketing & PR campaigns in partnership with Worldpay’s Marketing team Streamline customer onboarding processes and develop transparent pricing strategies Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate the Sales team on the product, features and market-specific considerations Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and partners in the Virtual Card & Travel sectors Collaborate with Worldpay’s Product, Vertical Growth, Sales & Partnerships teams to identify new opportunities and grow revenue for this product Represent Worldpay at industry conferences, events and meetings to promote the Virtual Card product Strategic Planning: Grow pipeline by developing sales strategies, identifying new opportunities and building target lists Ensure ongoing tracking and reporting of pipeline, including understanding & analyzing why deals are won & lost Product Support: Contribute to improving our product offering by supporting product prioritization strategy Gather customer & Sales team feedback on the product and share this back to Worldpay’s Product team Work closely with Product & Sales to define technical roadmaps and ensure open communication with Sales on roadmaps & strategy Market Analysis: Identify market trends, regulatory landscapes and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making Conduct thorough research and analysis of potential feature enhancements and market expansion of Worldpay’s Virtual Card product Evaluate market readiness and potential demand for Worldpay’s Virtual Card product in new target markets & verticals What you bring: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience Proven experience (4 years) in a similar role, preferably in the payment or travel industry Strong understanding of the global payments landscape Technical proficiency and ability to understand complex technical concepts and product functionalities Demonstrated ability to balance technical and commercial considerations when making strategic decisions Experience in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and evaluating new market opportunities Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-driven approach Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment What we offer you A competitive salary and benefits A variety of career development tools, resources and opportunities The chance to work on some of the most challenging, relevant issues in the payment industry Time to support charities and give back in your community Privacy Statement Worldpay is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
