We are looking for an experienced Artisan Baker
We are Two Magpies Bakery! A group of artisan bakeries established in Suffolk & Norfolk with our central production unit being based in Walpole, Suffolk. We are looking to recruit an experienced Baker to join our friendly & experienced team.
Experience with doughs & sourdough is essential, but training on our methods & products will be provided to you. A successful candidate will have knowledge of Sourdough theory & methodology and will have a thorough understanding of the importance of following set processes.
You will help mix, shape & bake bread, as well as produce other dough based products. Learn to prove & bake viennoiserie products (croissants etc), bake & fill doughnuts etc.
Product development is also a key area of the role. We always aim to keep our products seasonal & ever changing for our customers.
You must be able to work well in a small team with the ability to support wider teams to ensure smooth running of the overall site. You must also understand & appreciate the importance of following safe food practices under our HACCP procedures & system.
The role is full time, 45 hours over 5 days with 2 consecutive days off. Our site is in a rural area of Suffolk so your own transportation is necessary.
Day shifts: 5am-2pm / 8am-5pm
Night Shifts 8pm-5am
