Job Description:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Administrator in Purchasing to join our fantastic central finance team at Prospere Learning Trust.
This is a Grade 6, permanent post working 35 hours per week, all year round. The full time equivalent salary is £32,115.
The suitable candidate will have previous experience working within finance and procurement, excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing activities. They will demonstrate a collaborative, team working approach focused on improvement and supporting the vision, values and objectives of the organisation. They will have experience in carrying out core transactional finance activities in both purchase and sales ledger.
Main purpose of the job:
To oversee finance transactional processing in line with the Trust financial regulations and procedures, ensuring accuracy, compliance and best practice. The postholder will have responsibility for the more complex elements of financial processing and will line manage the Finance Officers. Working with the Senior Finance Administrator (Payments), they will be responsible for the oversight of transactional finance activities, ensuring an efficient service is provided to schools and suppliers.
