The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering safe and efficient frontline reactive maintenance services. You will quickly identify and resolve root causes to restore equipment to full operational capacity and proactively implement cost-effective improvements to enhance the efficiency and reliability of site assets.

Shift pattern - 4 on 4 off 0530-1730
Duties Include:
* Carry out Planned and Preventative Maintenance to agreed schedules.
* Ensure effective handover of information across shift.
* Use PMS to support prioritisation and problem solving to diagnose faults and to test, repair and maintain Mechanical/Electrical equipment.
* Observe, recognise and report on machinery or component defects or symptoms of impending failure and provide CMMS data.
* Contact OEM's and other suppliers for technical support as and when required and expedite parts when not available on site.
* Lead shift-based problem solving where corrective actions are not clear.
* Working as ONE TEAM with other site functions to deliver the service, RFT agenda on a day to day basis.
* Identify Improvements and implement with support of line manager.
* Identify life cycle issues and raise these with possible recommendations.
* Use and support simple 5WHY OE techniques/RCA techniques through to 100-year fix.
* Use and support departmental programmes for workshops and stores workplace management.
* Continuous transfer of knowledge and best practice.
Skills & Experience Required:
At least 2 years experience at:
* Exposure to engineering based operational efficiency programmes.
* A similar role of supporting Site Strategy for Quality/HS/EMS/Engineering.
* Supporting improvement activities/events within facilities and engineering owned areas.
* Delivering on the job training (show and tell) to new colleagues Health and safety of self and others
* NVQ Level 3 qualification - Mechanical and/or Electrical Bias "Train the trainer" training
* Ability to have own ideas and deliver these to improve the business Has played an active role in continuous improvement Piranna Systems Training (Desirable) Operational measures OEM Training / Site specific equipment training (Desirable) Generic HMI / SCADA/ Fieldbus/Drives & Instrumentation Desirable
* Relevant Health & Safety Modules Escalation procedures SSOW Document Awareness
* Engineering Quality Induction
* Ability to work to deadlines Effective project management skills Ability to provide "on the job coaching" and gain support from shift leaders
