Primary Teaching Assistant (Key Stages 1 and 2)
Location: Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: £85 to £110 per day
Start Date: September of 2024
Contract type: Full time/Part time

GSL Education is currently recruiting a Primary Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stages 1 and 2 in a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire .
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate teaching assistant who will support the next generation of young learners in achieving their full potential. The role involves working closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality educational support and ensuring that all students are engaged and motivated in their learning.
Job Responsibilities for a Teaching Assistant:
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
* Support individual and small groups of students with their learning activities.
* Help to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
* Provide one-to-one support for students with additional needs.
* Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.
* Supervise students during break and lunchtimes.
* Participate in school events and activities.
The successful Teaching Assistant is required to have:
* Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
* A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
