We are seeking an Ambitious, dynamic, motivated and innovative nurse to join our friendly, forward thinking specialist nursing team providing a high quality, holistic, needs led service focusing on the behavioural and developmental needs of children and young people with learning disabilities, Autistic spectrum conditions and other neuro disabilities including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and. Our aim is to form a partnership with families and professionals to enable others to maximize the childs full potential and as a specialist service provide support and advice to the significant people in the childs life, The role will involve delivering a highly specialized service for children with a diagnosis of Autism spectrum condition/Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder working within NICE guidelines - through assessment, planning and implementation of packages of care. This will involve developing and maintaining a high clinical profile and presence and acting as a role model for other CSU staff. The post holder will offer liaison, advice and support and clinical input to clients with a diagnosis of ASD and their parents/carers and colleagues, both internally and externally to the trust as required. The post holder will undertake prescribing, within agreed clinical management plans and with clear protocols and guidance, supported by the community paediatricians.
