We are looking for Exams Invigilator - Variable Hours to join our Exams team. You will join us on a variable hours, permanent basis and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £13.63 - £14.74 per hour, including London Weighting, plus accrued annual leave. The Exams Invigilator role: To invigilate exams held within Barking & Dagenham College effectively and efficiently providing a good service to all internal and external customers. Key Responsibilities of our Exams Invigilator: Conduct exams in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualification (JCQ), awarding body and Barking & Dagenham College regulations and instructions. Keep confidential exam questions papers and materials secure before, during and after exams. Set up exam rooms according to both internal and external processes. Keep accurate exam records of attendance, documenting any incidents, disruptions or irregularities in the exam room. Record candidate results within the College Information Systems in a timely, accurate and complete manner. Our ideal Exams Invigilator should have the following qualifications, skills and experience: Good literacy and Numeracy skills IT Training using Microsoft Office or equivalent experience Relevant experience of using MS Office or similar packages Experience of using a computerised database system or similar If you are passionate about success and can do the above, then we want to hear from you You will need to submit a covering letter within your application demonstrating how your personality, skills and experience meet our values for this role.
