Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a qualified teacher of Religious Studies looking for a new role in Oldham?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a specialist teacher of religion to join a large secondary academy in Oldham.
This is a full-time supply teaching role from April 2025 to July 2025.
The Role
Teacher of Religious Studies to key stage 3, key stage 4 and Key stage 5.
Five days a week 8.15am - 3.15pm
Teacher of Core Religious studies with a focus on developing open-minded and empathetic learners supporting British Values.
Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to a broad range of beliefs and cultures.
The school has a small sixth form and A level Religious Studies is a popular course - ability to teach up to Key stage 5 is very desirable.
The academy is interested in hearing from early career teachers, experienced QTS teachers or FE lecturers with recent UK experience of teaching Religious Education to students aged 11 to 18.

Minimum Requirements
To join us and be successful in this Religious Studies Teacher role, you will need to:
1. Hold QTS Status or QTLS or ECT status
2. This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
3. Provide a CV with a full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
4. Have the legal right to work full time in the UK
