Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time The role SSE Renewables operates and maintains over 1000MW of Hydro Generation and associated infrastructure. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be part of a multi-disciplined team who are responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance and repair of our Hydro Generation Plant to ensure it is kept in a safe and efficient state. You will - Maintain and repair Hydro Generation plant. - Work under a defined safe system of work. - Conduct Plant monitoring and ensure compliance with our statutory licence conditions. - Maintain plant availability, achieved through proactive fault response. - Upkeep operational hydro structures and associated assets. You have To be considered for this role, we would love you to have: - Recognised Craft apprenticeship or educational equivalent. - Experience maintaining heavy industrial plant. - Familiarity with risk assessment process and applying control measures. - Good communication skills and ability to keep accurate records. - Driving licence.
