Purpose of Role
The Junior Marketing Executive will provide vital support to the marketing team, assisting with the execution of campaigns, events and day-to-day activities that promote Oyster yachts, products and services. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for marketing and an interest in the luxury or marine sector, who is eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced and creative environment.
You will play a hands-on role in content creation, campaign activation, web optimisation, project coordination and administrative support, ensuring the seamless delivery of marketing initiatives.
Key Job Responsibilities
Campaign and content support
• Assist in the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery
• Support the timely creation of compelling SEO’d content and assets for campaigns, email marketing, social media, print materials, website updates and optimisation
• Write engaging copy for blogs, newsletters reflecting the brand’s tone of voice and luxury positioning
Prepare customer communications in CRM and CMS systems
• Liaise with photographers, videographers and designers to coordinate production of high-quality brand and visual content, including boat or production shoots for promotional and marketing materials
Capture in-house content, including yacht launches and yard movements, ensuring high-quality visuals for all key events and milestones
• Support Sales team with intelligent marketing assets to continually drive prospects up the sales funnel
Digital Marketing
• Support website updates, including uploading new content, optimising product pages and assisting with SEO initiatives
• Support with social media content creation of Oyster services (Charter, Brokerage and Service) promotion and consistent campaign activations
• Track and analyse performance of digital campaigns, providing insights and suggestions for improvement
Event activations
• Support with pre, during and post event marketing for international boat shows, private views, owner events and lifestyle brand collaborations
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of branded of event materials and assets for international boat shows, private viewings and owner events
• Coordinate event logistics, including supplier bookings, travel arrangements, and on-site support
• Ensure all events reflect the brand’s luxury identity and exceed client expectations
CRM and email marketing
• Support CRM email marketing campaigns by creating lists, preparing e-shots and distributing newsletters, invitations and promotional updates to nurture relationships with existing owners and potential yacht prospects
• Maintain the customer database, ensuring data is accurate and up to date
• Track the performance of email campaigns and suggest optimisations to improve engagement
Administrative support
• Manage marketing calendars, creation of purchase orders and campaign timelines, ensuring all projects stay on track
• Assist with competitor analysis, market research, and reporting to support strategic decision-making
• Coordinate with suppliers, agencies, partners and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution
• Keep the marketing team organised, including managing invoices, maintaining PR and supplier database
Requirements
Knowledge
A degree or equivalent qualification in marketing, communications or a related field
Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content
Proficiency in social media, CRM platforms and basic knowledge of digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout, Hubspot)
Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage
Organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Experience
1-2 years of experience in a marketing role, ideally in the luxury, lifestyle or marine industry
Qualifications
A degree or equivalent qualification in marketing, communications or a related field
