Integrated Logistic Support Lead - Defence Sector Location: Christchurch (3 days in the office - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Duration: Until 31st August 2025 (potential for extension) Contract Type: Inside IR35 (Non-negotiable) Work Hours: 37 hours per week (7.4 hours per day) Security Clearance: SC Clearance is highly desirable. Candidates must be UK Nationals and British-born due to project requirements. BPSS clearance can be considered initially. Role Overview: The Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Lead will report to the Deputy EM and act as the primary point of contact for ILS activities both internally and with the customer. The successful candidate will oversee reliability and maintainability analysis, predictions, and planning around spares and repairs while ensuring compliance with relevant mandates and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the main point of contact for ILS, managing customer liaison and internal communications. Own and execute Reliability and Maintainability analysis and planning for spares and repairs. Coordinate ILS activities across the program lifecycle. Manage ILS solutions for: Product Support Management Design Interface Sustaining Engineering Supply Support Maintenance Planning and Management Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) Support Equipment Technical Data Documentation and Planning: Create and maintain key ILS documentation, such as: GFx Plan Supportability Analysis Plan Disposal Plan Support & Test Equipment (S&TE) Plan Obsolescence Management Plan Plan and coordinate logistics demonstrations for initial equipment deliveries and armoured variants. Provide ongoing ILS support during the OSM phase, including: Incident sentencing boards Proposal scoping and costing Attendance at working groups CLS reports for programme tracking Required Skills and Experience: Experience in the defence and electronics industries. Proficiency in: Analysing and allocating specification requirements Writing specifications Reliability analysis and prediction Maintainability analysis and prediction Planning and executing maintainability/testability demonstrations Logistic Information Repository (LIR) / Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR) preparation Developing ILS plans, analysis reports, and bid documentation Level of Repair Analysis (LoRA) Spares and repairs modelling Technical Publications, including AESPs & IETPs ILS / RM&T processes and standards Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to travel to attend customer working groups as required. Security Clearance Requirement: Candidates must hold or be eligible for SC Clearance. BPSS clearance can be considered initially, but SC will be required in due course
