Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Shift: 4 on 4 off (2 days 2 nights / 4 off - 12 hour)

The company is looking for a good communicator for daily interactions and to help organize others within the work setting, with the ability to make strong logical decisions to resolve potential problems.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure effective handover of information across shifts
* Use PMS to support prioritization and problem-solving (RCFA)
* Diagnose faults and test, repair, and maintain Mechanical/Electrical equipment
* Observe, recognize, and report on machinery or component defects or symptoms of impending failure
* Contact OEMs and other suppliers for technical support
Qualifications:
Electrical bias Engineer with ideally 17th/18th edition certification, PLC exposure/understanding, fault finding, and rewiring experience. Experience in mechanical reactive and preventative breakdown, as well as Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems, is required.
Food Hygiene understanding and experience working within these guidelines is essential.
Experience in the FMCG manufacturing industry is an advantage.
