This position is within The Bridges Partnership service, a partnership between Jigsaw Support, Talk, Listen, Change and Diversity Matters Northwest.The partnership supports Tameside residents who are victims or survivors of domestic abuse, children who are impacted by domestic abuse and those causing harm. This service is commissioned by Tameside Council. The service includes: Safe accommodation - supporting domestic abuse victims in refuge and dispersed properties in the community, An outreach team supporting medium and standard risk cases in the community. A children’s team, supporting children and young people affected by domestic abuse. An IDVA team, supporting high risk victims. A Women and Families Centre offering group and peer support. This role is based at the Women and families Centre where we offer support around domestic abuse, substance misuse, finances, wellbeing, and parenting through a range of courses, drops ins and groups delivered both by us and partner agencies.At the centre we support primarily 2 groups of women, those who are of have suffered from domestic abuse and women on probation or at risk of offending. Role Information: As a Centre Co-ordinator you will support the Team Leader and Operational Manager to implement systems and processes to ensure the service is delivered in accordance with the commissioners and organisational requirements. You will be confident in working closely with delivery partners, agencies and liaising with professionals, and prospective clients. You will be the welcoming face and the coordinator of events and activities on offer at the centre, managing the booking system for our courses and providing support to women attending. The role will require daily admin tasks, updating the case management system, to ensure all data is a captured to support with monthly and quarterly reporting. You will lead on the recruitment of volunteers and managing the counselling offer provided via student counsellors. You will gather feedback and complete consultation to ensure the offer meets the needs of those accessing the centre. You will support with delivery of sessions and groups at the centre.
