We have several permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas – visit our website or LinkedIn page for more.\n\nTypically, this person will be managing and developing a group of suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals for the company, aiming to support efficient and consistent operations.\n\nDay to day duties and responsibilities of the Supply chain officer:\n\nPurchase materials/services in line with business needs at optimal cost.\n\t\nAct as the main contact and expert for assigned commodities.\n\t\nDevelop and implement commodity strategies.\n\t\nDrive cost savings while ensuring product quality.\n\t\nBuild and manage strong vendor relationships.\n\t\nOversee supplier performance and ensure commercial agreements are in place.\n\t\nIdentify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.\n\t\nSupport risk mitigation, benchmarking, and decision-making with data reports.\n\t\nCollaborate on operational improvement projects.\n\nRequirements Of the Supply chain officer:\n\nKnowledge and minimum 2 years’ experience in Supply chain/procurement processes.\n\t\nERP system experience.\n\t\nSupplier negotiations and relationship management.\n\t\nProficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)\n\t\nMarine industry or yacht production knowledge (desirable).\n\nThis vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical Ltd who are governed by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
