What you’ll do
Vodafone’s share of the Home Broadband and Converged market is rapidly growing by expanding our full fibre footprint, which enables us to bring market innovative, customer orientated propositions that embody our challenger spirit. Working across the full category, and with a specific passion towards fixed customers, our products bring together the best of Vodafone’s mobile business and market leading fixed propositions.
The position will entail working as part of the HBB broadband product team, focusing on addressing both new and existing backlog items to align with the commercial and strategic vision of the team. This role necessitates ownership and leadership of product definition and decision-making processes, requiring collaboration and coordination with multiple teams and key stakeholders to deliver successful Home Broadband and Fixed Wireless products. The responsibilities include delivering strategically focused enhancements and developing new functionalities for Vodafone’s Broadband services. This will primarily involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the setting, prioritisation, and evaluation of new features to meet customer requirements and support the rapid expansion of home broadband services.
Main responsibilities:
* Defining and prioritising product features, journey improvements and Digital plans
* Ensuring stakeholders understand the compromises and constraints and providing recommendations on priority decisions.
* Manage product user journey design, ensuring a high-quality cross channel user experience.
* Define and oversee future product requirements.
* Oversight of the end-to-end customer experience of all HBB and FWA products and propositions.
* Work with Product team to create and maintain product backlog in line with business values.
* Continuously monitor customer needs, market trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes to ensure the product remains a category leader.
* Introduce new best practices to the product team to ensure the optimal ways of working.
* Work closely with the propositions team on defining new, market leading Digital products and propositions.
* Drive product governance and manage stakeholders.
Who you are
* Experience of working as a Product Manager
* Experience of defining Minimum Viable Products, and making data-orientated decisions
* Understanding of Wholesale and Retail business models, as well as the distinction between network, technical, and commercial products
* Expert understanding of the product development and launch lifecycle
* Good understanding of eCommerce front ends and the interfaces with backend information systems
* Understanding of full fibre broadband
* Excellent knowledge of business process and exception management
* Experience working in a matrix organisation and management of resources across the organisation.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, supplier management and influencing skills.
* Experience in Agile methodology
* Preferred Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe POPM
