JOB TITLE: Customer Service Operative
LOCATION: St Austell, Cornwall
SALARY: Negotiable, depending on experience
The Employer:
We are looking to fill the role of Customer Service Operative within a housing environment.
The client is a non - profit, charitable registered provider of social and affordable housing throughout Cornwall.

The Role:
Installation, maintenance and repair to customer properties
Assess and carry out works needed for tenants
Undertaking customer service issues
Using a laptop to record repairs and organise workload
The Candidate needs:
Experience in a similar role or trade background, preferably with experience of basic Carpentry, Plumbing, Decoration and General Maintenance.
The ability to demonstrate awareness of safe systems of work
An understanding of customer needs and ability to think quickly when needed
To behave in a courteous and professional manner
To be able to prioritise conflicting demands
Great communication skills
The ability to maintain accurate records of information
Basic IT skills
A clean Driving Licence
Qualifications:
CSCS card
3 Day First Aid
NVQ in a Trade or equivalent
Level 2 NVQ Multi Trade (desirable)
Scaffold Awareness (desirable)
SUMMARY:
This is full time role, working a 40 hour week.
This position comes with a company van, pension and 25 days annual leave plus BHs.
Salary negotiable with experience
The role requires a satisfactory Basic DBS check.
