Harvey Nash is delighted to be partnering with a leading logistics and supply chain organisation to recruit a Solutions Design Manager for their Operational Development team. The company has recently secured a major statement of work, with operations scaling up for this client while continuing to deliver exceptional logistical solutions for their existing portfolio
As a result, our partner requires a Solutions Design Manager to provide end-to-end design and management of innovative solutions that will address operational challenges. This role involves collaborating with new and existing clients to implement these solutions and consistently deliver new products.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously refining the Ops Discovery strategy to identify, evaluate, and document operational improvements in line with existing and evolving business goals.
Key responsibilities:
* Development, maintenance, and continual improvement of Operating Cost Models, understanding and using operational data to justify solution costs.
* Design and implement solutions end-to-end, including launching new networks, infrastructure, nodes, and buildings to support the supply chain.
* Experience with solution design, costing, and mapping processes.
* Building strong relationships across a business, including teams such as IT, Product, Marketing, Change, and Commercial.
* Leading a high-performance team through effective leadership, upskilling and developing team members such as solution engineers, apprentices, and graduates.
* Experience working in logistics and supply chain would be advantageous.
* Must possess a Full Valid UK Driving Licence and be able to travel.
