As part of our growth plans, we are looking for talented and self-motivating individual to take responsibility in leading and growing our Land business. The Land Account Delivery Lead is accountable for TP Group's business with MOD Land customers. This role is responsible for development, capture and delivery of business to continue the growth journey of the tpgroup Defence Portfolio. To be successful the Account Delivery Lead will need to work in conjunction with Capability Leads responsible for Operational Analysis, System Engineering, Business Case Approvals, Cost Engineering and Materials Science, as well as the Commercial, Finance, Security and Project Management Office (PMO) business functions, and the elements of the wider Science Group. Your Future Role As Land Account Delivery Lead you are responsible for leafing, growing and delivering TP Group’s Land business. Your responsibilities will include: Be the TP Group primary point of contact for our MOD, Industry and Academia Land client group and stakeholder community. Develop and direct a Land Account strategy, in order to grow a sustainable Land business in line with the Company’s overall strategy and metrics of ‘good business’. Deliver Land sector objectives and targets as directed by the Land & Joint Client Director and in line with the TP Group business objectives. Act as Account Lead for prospects within the Land market area by directing the activities of any bids and working in conjunction with the Capability Leads, Commercial, Finance, Security and PMO to win sustainable business. Develop and maintain customer and stakeholder relationships; identify the requirement for new capabilities; identify the customer demand for existing capabilities and acquire customer feedback. Act as Portfolio Manager for projects within the Land market area, by directing the activities of Project Managers, in order to delight our clients, deliver a balanced Land business, enhance the reputation of the Company and to deliver to time, cost and quality. About You You are a good leader and interested in people and growing consultancy business. You have a good understanding of business development and sales in a UK defence consulting context. You know and understand the Land domain, how to elicit a Land client’s need and then marshall our engineering consultancy services to meet them. You might be an engineer yourself, but not necessarily. You have experience of leading and motivating teams to deliver success; you are interested in helping the people around you to grow and develop without line managing them. You take pride in results; you are resilient in the face of tough market conditions. To gain SC clearance you will normally need at least 5 years’ UK residency.
