Who will you be working with?
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering detailed heating and hot water system designs for commercial applications, supporting the business solutions sales approach to a high standard to meet both legislative and customer requirements.
On a daily basis you’ll be responsible for:
1. Representing Baxi in a professional manner and handling a range of enquiries from customers to develop heating and hot water solutions.
2. Using AutoCAD and Revit to build detailed project designs, including system P&ID diagrams, general arrangement drawings, and plant layout drawings.
3. Producing equipment schedules in line with the project requirements.
4. Developing system designs incorporating renewable technologies and hybrid solutions.
5. Providing system designs to specification in line with the departments SLA’s.
6. Completing system design revisions in a timely manner.
7. Supporting a follow-up design service, including provision of handover documentation and performance details.
8. Providing follow-up service to clients regarding technical enquiries.
9. Creating and managing spreadsheets using Excel for data capture and updates.
10. Keeping up to date with UK & Ire legislation and product technologies within the Heating and Hot Water sector.
11. Creating product BIM models to support both the residential and commercial product portfolios.
About you:
To be successful in your application you’ll need to have experience;
1. Ideally educated to HNC level in building services or higher.
2. A proven track record of technical competence within the HVAC industry.
3. Formal training and experience of Computer Aided Design systems, ideally AutoCAD & Revit.
4. Proven project management experience and an ability to apply technical knowledge in a commercial context.
5. Experience with CRM Systems.
6. A fundamental understanding of the 18th Edition Installation and Wiring Regulations.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Highly numerate to analyze and communicate effectively.
9. Demonstrable experience in Mechanical and Electrical building services within commercial properties.
10. An appreciation for renewable technologies.
11. In-depth knowledge of UK legislative requirements for new build properties.
12. A collaborative working style, nurturing both internal and external key relationships.
13. Knowledge of district heating systems is advantageous.
